I don't know if you can tell from this photo, but I dyed my hair a reddish color. I hated it at first, but now I'm quite used to it. :)

So. I don't know what inspired me, but I've started a new running program. I think what has made me quit running in the past (cancer treatment aside) is that I start out too hard, too fast and I either burn out or get frustrated with lack of progress. Running is an activity of patience, I've discovered. So I'm starting out very slow and easy this time, and I am really loving it. May be time soon for some new running shoes... my "I kicked cancer's ass" shoes aren't feeling as bouncy as they once did.

Anyway, it's very very exciting for me to have something to latch onto like this. I love it. I've been in the gym four times a week for the past month and I feel awesome. Better than I EVER did pre-cancer.

Thanksgiving was fun, my uncle was in town from Texas, it is always good to see him. I didn't get to see my sister, but maybe at Christmas.

Life is good. :)
